Vehicle Funding Tip

One of our lovely members, Linda, has this tip for families looking to fund a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
“Perhaps you can share with families that Variety will grant up to $10,000 towards the cost of modifications to a vehicle, or towards the cost of an already modified vehicle.
I am in NSW and our family has been very fortunate to benefit from a grant.

would anyone know of anywhere other than variety who would help with fundings for a wheelchair access car.. in desperate need please…

Other than your local Lions Club, Rotary Club etc. there aren’t any other sources that we know of Wendy. If you are in VIC there is a $10,000 Vic Govt subsidy for the cost of the modification, but not the vehicle. If you get close to your target and need help with the last $5,000 or so send us an application form and we’ll see what we can do. Good luck.
