Nondas will have his walker in time for kinder!

27 January 2011 by barb

Nondas Konstantinou - helped by children's charity I Give A Buck! Thanks to the remarkable ongoing generosity of this wonderful community, young Nondas will have his cool Crocodile Walker in time to start kindergarten on February 3rd!  The contributions made by existing – and new – members were truly amazing. Thank you to each and every one of you.

A huge thank you must go to Elisa Miller for a terrific article on Nondas  that was featured in both the Maroondah Weekly and in the Yarra Ranges Weekly. Elisa’s article resulted in a much needed boost to Nondas’ Appeal and her ongoing support of the children we assist is absolutely invaluable.

I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a great year!

Every child has the right to dignity – let’s make sure Nondas gets a boost in his in time.  We need to raise $842 in the next 11 days – Nondas starts kinder on Feb 3rd – can you help make Nondas’ Christmas wish come true?

Flood Crisis & IGAB Office

11 January 2011 by barb

The IGAB office in Belli Park is experiencing frequent power and telecomms outages for days at a time due to the current QLD flood crisis. We ask for your patience until all is resolved.  We currently have no mobile coverage and only intermittent access to phone, internet and power.

We are on high ground so are not affected by the water directly and out thoughts are with those people not as fortunate as us in this terrible time.

Hopefully we will be back up to normal operations early next week.

Thank you for your patience in the interim.
