Big hugs to Kylie Fry and Melissa Lane for their donations yesterday.
Many thanks to Ken Stanley, Peter Lewry, Ross Newcombe and all the other folks at Geelong Port for their fantastic donations – over $2000 so far! Madison is a very lucky girl to have such great friends on her side.
Another weekend of lovely donations, this time from Kim Pickering, Eric Van Zuyden, Liat Harrower, Ken Stanley, Lyn Smith & Jamie Rank.
Anonymous says “IGAB foundation is a wonderful way for people to be able to help sick children and their families when they really need help. A small donation can really make a big difference to these kids and their parents.”
Marjorie read about Madison’s Appeal in the Geelong Advertiser and donated a fantastic $1,000!
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. The Geelong Club doned $500 to Madison’s Appeal.
“The reason we donated to the appeal is because Nate is Anthony’s son. We are thrilled the target was reached.
Thank you for the wonderful appeal and your fantastic foundation which enables vital support to kids like Nate.”
Meet Riley. Riley is 2 years old and was born with no heartbeat for 15 minutes and no breathing for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Because of this Riley is severely disabled. He cannot sit, talk or see. Riley is fed through a PEG tube into his tummy because he can’t swallow.
He spends a lot of time in the Royal Children’s Hospital and, when he’s not there, he’s at home being looked after by his parents.
For all of his health problems Riley can still give big smiles every day and is much loved by his 4yo big sister and mum and dad.
This appeal seeks to raise the $2,887 needed for a special car seat for Riley.
Another $700 for Madison – courtesy of lovely cheques clearing from the Kiwanis Club of Geelong and the Drysdale Community Craft Shop – thank you!
